I’ve been
having great fun recording my podcast Maltin
on Movies with Baron Vaughn, but until this week we’ve never had an
in-studio guest. We knew that actor and storyteller Stephen Tobolowsky would be
a perfect choice; as it turns out, we had such a long and lively discussion that
it warranted its own stand-alone episode. If you aren’t already a fan of this
talented character actor from his scores of film and television appearances (my
favorite remains Ground Hog Day, in
which he’s insurance salesman Ned Ryerson), perhaps you’re acquainted with his
gifts as a storyteller from his podcast The
Tobolowsky Files and his book Dangerous
Animals Club.
In any case,
that bonus episode of Maltin on Movies
with Baron Vaughn debuts today, and it’s free for the asking.
And if you
haven’t yet sampled our “regular” show, in which we discuss three movies on a
particular theme every week—one good, one bad, and one sleeper—I hope you’ll
sample some of our past episodes. Enjoy!
