He’s always loved this UPA show and has spent years interviewing people associated with it (and collecting original artwork); his book is an obvious labor of love, an uncommonly handsome hardcover lavishly illustrated with production artwork, sketches, backgrounds, layout drawings, and behind the scenes photos. I was pleased to contribute an introduction after reading the text, but I never expected it to appear in such an attractive volume.
